Lev Leviev, Chairman of the Board
Born in 1956. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Africa Israel Investments Ltd. and AFI Development PLC. He is also the owner and President of the LLD Diamonds Group Ltd. and President of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Russia and CIS.
Nadav Grinshpon, Vice Chairman of the Board
Born in Israel in 1972. He has a BA in Business Management and Accounting from the College of Management and is a Certified Public Accountant. He serves as the CEO of Memorand Management Ltd. and of companies in the Leviev Group. Previously he was Senior Vice President of a communications company in Eastern Europe and prior to that worked as Manager of the Economic Department of Zohar, Zohar & Co., an Israeli firm of public accountants. In addition, he serves as Chairman of the Board and Director of companies in the Group.
Izzy Cohen, CEO
Izzy Cohen, born in 1951, is married and the father of 4 children. He graduated in Statistics and Computer Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Cohen has been appointed as CEO of Africa Israel Investments after a career of over 30 years in the field of insurance, during which he served in senior management positions in several companies. Prior to his appointment as the CEO of Africa Israel, Cohen served for 10 years as CEO of the Migdal Insurance and Financial Holdings Ltd. Group, the largest insurance group in Israel, commencing in 1998. Concurrently, Cohen was Head of the International Innovation Laboratory of the parent Company – the European insurance and finance giant, Generali. In this position, Cohen was responsible for the work of Group International Headquarters and its subsidiaries on initiating and developing future finance and insurance products and services in various markets. Cohen previously served as CEO of the Magen and Migdal Insurance Companies, which merged into the Midgal Group.
Tzvia Leviev Elazarov, VP Marketing
Born in 1977, she has a B.A. in Business Management; Marketing and Publicity Management studies at Bar Ilan University and Business Management studies at Tel Aviv University. She is a member of the Board of Directors of subsidiary companies of Africa Israel Investments Ltd., as well as Chairman of Anglo-Saxon Real Estate Agency (Israel 1992) Ltd. and Chairman of Africa Israel Residences Ltd. Since 1997, she has served in a variety of management positions in the Africa Israel Company, including Marketing Manager of the Group Residential Division. In 2005, she was appointed Vice President of Marketing in Africa Israel Investments Ltd. and Head of the Shopping Mall Division. She is active in Yad Sarah and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Bar Ilan University.
Ron M. Fainaro, CFO
Born in 1967, Ron joined Africa Israel from ECtel, a leading telecom software provider, where he served as EVP and CFO. Prior to ECtel, Mr. Fainaro served as CFO and Vice President of the American operations of Tecnomatix Technologies, a global software company. Prior to Tecnomatix he served as CFO of Lucent Technologies (Waveaccess), and as CFO of Habas Group. Ron is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a B.A in Accounting from Tel-Aviv University and a B.Sc in Physics and Materials Engineering from the Technion, Haifa - Israel's Institute of Technology .
Jacques Zimmerman, VP Corporate Communications & Corporate Secretary
Born in Brazil in 1968. He is a Lawyer, and has a B. A. in Law from Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in Political Science from the Hebrew University Jerusalem, cum laude. He serves as Vice President responsible for Corporate Communications and Corporate Secretary of the Africa Israel Investments Ltd. Group, which includes, among others, the public companies Danya Cebus Ltd., Africa Israel Properties Ltd., Africa Israel Residences Ltd., and Africa Israel Industries. Jacques Zimmerman serves as Director for Group companies in Israel and abroad.
Ron Maor, VP Economical Planning and Control
Born in 1964; MBA graduate in Business Administration from INSEAD University, and holds a B.A. in Law from Tel Aviv University. Currently holds position of Senior Vice President Economical Planning and Control. In his previous position, he served as CEO of Yisal Amlat Investments (1993) Ltd. Formerly he was Manager of Business Development in Amdocs, and served as Vice President in Robertson Stevens (Israel). Serves on the Board of Directors of the Group's companies.
Avi Barzilai, VP Russia and CIS
Born in 1963, he is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Accounting at Bar Ilan University. Serves as CFO and member of the Board of Directors of AFI Development PLC. In addition, he is also CFO of Africa Israel Properties Ltd. In the past, he served in various positions in the Red Sea Hotel Construction Group and in Somekh Chaikin, Public Accountants.
Yaron Harari, Internal Auditor
Born in 1968. He has a first degree in Economics and Accounting from Bar Ilan University, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He serves as Chief Auditor of the Africa Israel Investments Group, which includes in addition the public companies, Africa Israel Residences, Africa Israel Properties, Africa Israel Industries and Danya Cebus. Previously held the position of Deputy Internal Auditor of the group.
